Gidselkrisen i Irak fortsætter

LUKKETHED: Besættelsesstyrkerne er besluttet på ikke at give unødige informationer

Japan's Senior Vice Foreign Minister Ichiro Aisawa talks to the press in Dubai 17 April 2004. The two remaining Japanese held hostage in Iraq were released and could leave for Dubai to join the three others who had been freed earlier, an Iraqi cleric and Japanese officials said. Aisawa told reporters "the Japanese embassy in Iraq has confirmed the release of two Japanese hostages." Aisawa had headed the hostage crisis unit in Amman and arrived yesterday in Dubai.
